Biblioteca Civica di Bassano del Grappa

The Biblioteca Civica of Bassano del Grappa holds over 40,000 pages of different types of documents related to one of the leading figures of Neoclassicism. The project involved digitizing the 6,658 archival documents that make up the fonds.

Together with a group of companies specialized in different areas of the Digital Humanities (Haltadefinizione, Memooria, Hyperborea, and MLOL), we carried out the digitization of this vast corpus of documents, creating a digital archive of the Antonio Canova Fonds. The archive is now freely accessible for consultation on the library’s website.
